Proposed procurement 96-1811 Contractor Plant Services (CPS) in support of the following: non-personal representative technical services for the purpose of providing sustaining support to 6 field representatives on the Electro Optical Test Set (EOTS) AN/USM 636 and associated Test Program Sets (TPS) that troubleshoot the Forward Looking Infrared FLIRs on the F/A18 aircraft. The proposed procurement is for a basic year plus an option as currently estimated by Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit, (NAESU). The proposed effort will commence on 96 October 01 and will run through 97 September 30. This period covers the Government's minimum needs for this requirement. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with McDonnell Douglas, Aircraft Company as the OEM and the only known source with the required technical and engineering expertise, ''in-plant'' support and requisite data base to perform the required services.
