The original publication that appeared on the Internet for this effort dated December 11, 1995 is modified for the third time to read as follows: This procurement is now open to small and large businesses. NASA Lewis Research Center will purchase Jet-A Fuel. The Jet-A Fuel must comply with the American Society for Testings and Materials-D-1655 Specifications. The fuel quantity will be an estimated maximum of 100,000 gallons depending on the current price per gallon. It will be delivered to NASA Lewis Research Center on an as-needed basis in increments of 5,000 gallon trailer loads to replenish the used fuel. The term of this procurement will be one year with an option requirement to purchase an additional estimated maximum of 100,000 gallons per the Government's needs. The term of the option requirement will be one year if it is exercised. The RFO (RFO3-037886) will be re-issued April 26, 1996 with a revised closing date of May 29, 1996. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA Midrange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. Any concerns or issues relative to this procurement should be addressed to the Contracting Officer identified above. The solicitation will be released via the NASA Internet Acquisition Service (NAIS). The solicitation will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using client browsers, such as MOSAIC or Netscape. Potential offerors shall be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation will be made available on request, but the closing date will be the same as that required for the NAIS released solicitation. The RFO will be released on or about one (1) day after posting of this synopsis on the NAIS. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the NAIS for solicitation release as the solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to the projected date.
