Oliver, Contracting Officer at (401) 841-2442 X281 FAX: (401) 841-4820 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to issue a competitive solicitation for services to: conduct mission, force, and platform level studies for submarines and surface ships; validate the accuracy of SIM II and associated platform engagement models; identify strengths and weaknesses of SIM II and related models; conduct multiwarfare analysis; conduct cost performance tradeoff studies; provide video documentation of all analysis model operations, studies, visualization, and exercises. The estimated level of effort is 277,000 man-hours over a 5 year period. Award shall be made on a greatest value basis. All firms which believe they possess the ability to meet the requirements are invited to submit a proposal which must contain clear and convincing evidence of the firm's capability, including technical and pricing data.
