U -- SECURITY TRAINING SOL S-OPRAQ-96-0564 DUE 062196 POC Contact Brian Mulcahy, 703/875-6844/Contract Specialist; Zerrin Langer, 703/875-5429/Contracting Officer The U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisition, is seeking contractor assistance to provide instructors, classrooms, instructional materials, firing and explosive ranges, sufficient number of vehicles and an adequate training facility for defensive driver instruction, which will allow true-to-life vehicle attack scenarios to be enacted. The training facility shall be within an 80 mile radius of the U.S. Capitol building to allow for the participation of area Department agents in attack scenarios. It is anticipated the contract shall include a 12-month base period of performance with four 12-month optional service periods. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract is contemplated for this project. Written requests for this solicitation must reference S-OPRAQ-96-R-0564, Security Training.
