This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Data Tape Inc., 7921 Jones Branch Dr. Ste 275, Mclean, VA 22102 on an other than full and open competitive basis to modify 1 each MARS1400-3B (28 Track) to MARS1400-3D (14 Track) Recorder. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Data Tape because they are the manufacture of the recorder and therefore have the proprietary technical rights. Delivery is required FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland within 40 days after contract award.
