Roof removal includes abatement & disposal of asbestos containing materials requiring a qualified asbestos abatement contractor. Remove existing roofing, installation and metal flashings at all levels. Install new built-up roofing, new metal flashings, and new expansion joint cover. Install new insulation tapered to meet current energy standards. Waterproof back of parapet wall and wall surrounding high courtroom roof in such a way that the roof is vented properly. Position new counter flashing at new height to adequately cover existing defective reglet joint. Cost Range: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Completion of contract is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated issue date is: July 2, 1996 and the Bid Opening Date is: August 1, 1996.
