Wasniewski, Contracting Officer, (201) 724-2164. This effort is for a modified non-developmental, rugged durable, light weight telescope with a 3-4x illuminated reticle and laser protection. Supplies and services to be furnished under this effort include 75 XM145 Telescopes w/attached rail grabber, technical manuals, commercial drawings, contractor support and training for developmental and operational testing. A government designed rail grabber, the interface for telescope to weapon, will be provided by the contractor and delivered as part of the telescope unit. The contract will include four (4) single year production options for a possible total buy of up to 4,200 units. Award of a least one firm fixed priced contract is contemplated. Offerors are required to submit fifteen (15) bid samples and manuals with their proposals. Bid samples will be subjected to technical testing and evaluation.
