70 -- FLUKE 682 ENTERPRISE LANMASTER FOR ETHERNET NETWORKS DUE 061896 POC POC: Ms. Sheila Williams, Purchasing Agent, (301) 227-5005; Ms Marilyn Miller Jaissle, Contracting Officer Defense Mapping Agency intends to award on a sole source basis with Wilthronix a Fluke 682 Enterprise LanMeter for Ethernet Networks. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document exists and requests for a solicitation will be disregarded. However, all responses from responsible sources which are received within 30 days of the date of the publication of this synopsis will be fully considered. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. Only written responses will receive consideration. Responses must convey clear and convincing documentation of advantages to the Government to consider another source. The documentation shall include prices, GSA Contract Number (if applicable) and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability of the proposed meter to perform to the same specifications and with the same capabilities as the Fluke 682 Enterprise LanMeter for the Ethernet Networks. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Item 3: FIVE (5) Ea; Adapter, Fluke 682 Healthscan E-NET Adapter for Fluke 682 Meter. Item 4: FIVE (5) Ea; Meter Fluke 682 Meter for Ethernet, which will include Case Battery Pack, AC Adapter, Charger Wire Map, Utility Disk, and Manual. Delivery is required thirty days after contract award in Bethesda, Maryland. A standard commercial warranty must be provided. (0149)
