The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the
construction of a new Visitor Center at Seneca Rocks, Potomac Ranger
District, Pendleton County, West Virginia. The project includes
construction of a 9,500 square foot visitor center buildings, access
road, parking areas, and turn lanes on US 33; installation of
underground utility lines; demolition of existing facilities;
construction of a footbridge spanning Seneca Creek, sidewalks, paving,
landscaping, and other incidental construction. The contract
completion time is 540 calendar days. The estimate for the project is
between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Drawings and specifications
will be available June 24, 1996 for a nonrefundable cost of $125.00.
