A SOLICITATION NOTICE WILL BE PUBLISHED BEFORE INVITATIONS ARE ISSUED. The work includes ASBESTOS AND LEAD BASE PAINT ABATEMENT OF ENTIRE FACILITY PRIOR TO REHABILITATION. Structural/interior renovation which have water and mildew damage. Replace some floor tile and recoat existing concrete floors. Structural/exterior will include the removal and replacement of the shingle roof. Install a soffitt around the building at roof overhangs. Renovate some structural columns to allow for the installation of garage doors. Remove and replace miscellaneous siding at some locations on the building and painting of entire facility on interior and exterior. Remove existing ductwork and install new exhaust fans at rooms 1, 2 and 3. Rework existing plumbing to remove and add miscellaneous toilet facilities. Revise electrical throughout building to supply service to above added items and upgrade lighting. --Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 5/96, open bids 7/96, complete contract 1/97.--Estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
