The purpose of this amendment to the synopsis is to change the anticipated contract instrument to a 5 year requirements contract with a minimum quantity of 571 each and a maximum quantity of 1,371 each. The need for the item still exists under normal Government contracting procedures. NSN 4810-01-337-420, P/N 300500-1003, applicable to the AH-64 Aircraft. This procurement requires prequalifications. Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit qualification documentation in accordance with procedures contained in Sectin L of the solicitation. The Government anticipates entering into a sole source contract with Parker Hannifan Corp. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, based on the determination that the Government's needs can only be satisfied by unique supplies available from one source and/or in which there is an existence of limited rights in data. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition.
