Provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performance of all work incidental to the renovations of Buildings 217 and 220, in addition construction of a new 1,000 s.f. pre-engineered metal storage building located at another site on the NSWC installation and incidental related work: The primary renovations in Building 217 consists of removal of the existing dual temperature fan coil unit system and providing a new four-pipe fan coil unit system with outside ventilation introduced to each fan coil unit, and removal/replacement of existing sprinklers/piping to comply with renovation work and NFPA; the existing heating and cooling plant for Building 217 and 216 (adjacent building) will be re-piped and provided with new primary/secondary pumps (Building 217). The existing Air cooled chiller will be re-used; existing DDC controls (Barber Coleman-Network 8000) will be modified/expanded to meet the scope of the 217/220 renovations. Existing controllers located in Building 217 will be re-used (modified) and additional DDC fan coil unit controllers will be provided. Each fan coil unit will be provided with its own controller; in addition to the HVAC renovations in 217/220, the electrical transformer servings Building 216, 217, and 220 will be replaced and upgraded, from 300 to 500 KVA. New electrical service will be provided to Building 217 and existing service to Building 216 and 220 will remain. The construction of a 1,000 s.f. storage building consists of a pre-engineered metal building on a slab-on-grade. Electrical service will be provided to the building from an existing transformer. The total time for completion of this project is 270 calendar days. The estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The SIC code for this project is 1522.
