SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and labor for the installation of fire alarm systems and additions to an existing radio operated system. Approximately 17 buildings require entire alarm systems, approximately 3 require installation of Government furnished transceivers and an estimated 8 buildings require emergency exit lighting. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, MA in accordance with the plans and specifications. Performance period is for one-hundred-twenty (120) days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Interested parties, qualified to perform work under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1731 (Electrical Work), should notify this office, in writing or by FAX at (508) 233-5736, of their interest to bid the project as the prime contractor referencing IFB Number DAHA19-96-B-0006.
