The work includes replacement of existing fire alarm systems in various buildings at the Naval Air Station with centralized, radio controlled fire alarm systems with wiring and components including manual pull stations, horns with strobe combination, sprinkler temper valves, smoke detectors, heat detectors, voice announcement system, replacement of existing boxes and associated annunciator panels, and other related work. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 10 July 1996 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 240 calendar days.
