SOLICITATION NOTICE-This project will be UNRESTRICTED. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1629 - Heavy
Construction. The size standard is $17 million. The work includes the
removal of various undergroun storage tanks and the installation of new
underground storage tanks and incidental related work. Requests for
plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address by
indicating ''Plans Room'', first floor, building 212 or requests may be
sent via facsimile by using FAX #(202) 433-0939. Contractors within the
local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at
Bldg. 212, First Floor, Plans Room of the Washington Navy Yard. The
hours of operation are 7:30-3:00, Monday thru Friday. There will be a
non-refundable charge of $25.00 for the documents. Checks should be
payable to the U.S. Treasurer, C/O EFA Chesapeake. Please note that the
plans/specs will be issued on a ''first-come, first-serve'' basis.
NOTE: Bids are to be marked and submitted to Building 212, first floor,
PLANS ROOM. The projected date of issuance of plans and specs is 08
July 1996., The projected date of bid opening is 08 August 1996. At
approximately 3:00 pm on the date of bid opening. The estimated cost of
