The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington has been requested by the Naval Electromagnetic Spectrum Center (NAVEMSCEN) to procure technical services. The anticipated contract is a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Typical tasks will include researching and recommending modifications to allow for implementation of various frequency assignment analyses, analyzing proposed changes to international, national and DOD radio frequency standards, and supporting NAVEMSCEN personnel on conferences involving frequency issues. The SIC Code is 8711. Estimated level of effort is 3,860 manhours per year. Contract will be for a base year, four one-year options and may be extended up to six (6) months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. Majority of the performance will be completed in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
