The U.S. Agency for International Development's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance is seeking organizations capable of producing a video that documents the high socio-economic costs of disasters and outlines prevention, mitigation and preparedness strategies. The video will be widely distributed to institutions including USAID Missions, UN organizations and host governments in disaster-prone countries. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. Offerors interested in receiving the RFP or diskette via mail are requested to include three, self-addressed, adhesive labels with their letter requesting the solicitation. The RFP will be issued on/about July 16, 1996. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5'' floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format). This CBD notice can be viewed and downloaded using the Agency Gopher. The RFP, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency Gopher. The Gopher address is GOPHER.INFO.USAID.GOV.
