Synopsis Number A-25 - The Barksdale Air Force Base LA Contracting Officer is seeking sources to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, permits, materials, supervision and other items as necessary to operate a barber shop at the Enlisted Club and Officers Club for the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality at Barksdale Air Force Base LA. This is not an invitation for bids. It is anticipated that the contract will have a basic plus four one-year option periods. Concessionaire must furnished as a ``minimum'' three chairs at each location. This is a nonappropriated funds purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriation funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency. A small business is defined as a concern, including its affiliates whose average sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $3.5 million (SIC Code 7941).
