E -- FLOATING COMFORT STATIONS SOL IFB-1320-96-0018 DUE 082996 POC Contact Judie J. Moseman, 406/666-2412/Contract Specialist Bighorn Canyon will be seeking invitations for bid on floating comfort stations. A base bid for (1) lake floating comfort station and (1) boat holding tank service dock, plus (3) additional lake floating comfort stations, (1) additional boat holding-tank service dock, and (1) comfort station transport trailer will be optional additives. Offeror must bid on all bid items. The floating comfort station units shall be constructed by combining the installation of a manufacturer's ''stock'' prefabricated building/vault toilet within and on a custom built floating dock platform. The floating boat holding-tank service dock units shall be constructed by combining the installation of the same manufacturer's vault as used for the installation of the same manufacturer's vault as used for the floating comfort station unit within a custom built floating dock platform. The transport trailer will be used to install/remove all units on the lake each spring/fall. Either steel, aluminum, wood, or combination of these materials as specified may be used for structural components of the floating units. Performance, quality, construction and assembly execution must meet all contract requirements. Estimated cost (depending on the award of the additives) is between $60,000 and $200,000. The floating units will be placed on the lake between Fort Smith, Montana and Lovell, WY. Anticipated award date is August 30, 1996. Completion date within 90 days of award. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting agency, NPS.
