Contract shall be for 100% design, specifications and cost estimate. Firms must be able to show expertise in hospital and, particularly in, TB or related isolation room renovation. The firm must have on staff a registered mechanical engineer with the engineer with the expertise in these areas. Firms must be able to provide specifications on 3 1/2'' floppy discs in Word Perfect 5.1 format. Firm must be able to provide all drawings on 3 1/2'' floppy disc in Autocad Release 12 format. Area of consideration - firms located within a 100 mile radius of Augusta, Georgia. Evaluation factors: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in the facility design; and (7) Acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria.
