Kentucky Forest Highway Project KY PFH 103-2(1), Daniel Boone National Forest, in Menifee County, Kentucky, consists of the replacement of the existing timber bridge and bridge approaches on the State Route 715 bridge over Gladie Creek. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Removal of existing timber bridge, 1 EACH; Roadway excavation, 6,000 CUYD; Mechanically-placed rock embankment, 1,200 CUYD; Structural concrete, 650 CUYD; Epoxy coated reinforcing steel, 108,700 LB; Structural steel, weathering steel, furnished, fabricated, and erected, 387,000 LB; Drilled shafts, 30-inch diameter, 250 LNFT; Class A masonry, medium pointed finish, 210 CUYD. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 and has a construction completion date of August 31, 1998.
