The project includes construction of one standard-design enlisted personnel barracks (200 PN). Barracks includes living/sleeping rooms with bath, walk-in closets, elevator, and a multi-purpose court. Work also includes construction of two 2-story standard design medium company operations facilities (COF). The COF includes offices, conference room, toilets/shower, janitor's closet, equipment maintenance area, unit storage, general storage, lockers, arms vault, mechanical room and electric room. Supporting facilities to include electric service, exterior lighting, fire protection, alarm system, storm and sewer improvements, information system, extension of Flagger Road, realignment of Kolekole Ave., cable television service, air conditioning for barracks (60 tons), and for Camp Operation Facility (13 tons). Project includes demolition of 14 buildings (94,765 SF) which has no asbestos removal but requires lead base paint removal. As option items, this construction project also includes maintenance of air conditioning, fire sprinkler, elevator, fire alarm, and electrical distribution system for a period of two years after beneficial occupancy. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $10 million and $25 million. Solicitation to be issued O/A August 5, 1996. Documents to be available at $273.00 per set of specifications and full-size drawings or $245.00 per set of specifications and half-size drawings. Single copies of specifications alone may be purchased by interested applicants for $38.00. Full-size drawings alone may be purchased for $235.00 a set.
