The Propulsion System Evaluation Facility of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for two (2) dynamometer test apparatus to be used for testing of aircraft engine starter motors. Each apparatus shall be composed of a high speed eddy-current dynamometer. Equipment shall be factory assembled, tested and supplied as an unit complete with all necessary control, lubrication, cooling and imbedded instrumentation systems. The rapid response of the eddy-current dynamometer shall be used to simulate the torque/speed/time curve which would be produced by an actual engine start cycle. Manuals, drawings and schematics, spare parts, consumable items, and cooling system cleaning apparatus are required. Award will be based on low price, technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be 30 days after issuance of the solicitation.
