MOBILE ROCK CRUSHER, USDA-Forest Service, Region 3, Coronado National Forest. This contract action is to purchase a Forester C-2000 Mobil Rock Crusher under the Authority of FAR 6.302. The Crusher has the ability to lift material from existing unpaved road surfaces, crush the material and reprocess it back onto the road. Equipment will crush material up to sixteen inches in diameter and produce and end product that will pass a 2 inch sieve, with a production rate of 195 CY of crushed material per hour. Equipment must be able to operate on narrow mountain roads. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to these requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be determined by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
