This project includes providing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to replace and modify an existing fire alarm system with a new system. Existing wiring in conduit may be reused, additional wiring shall be in metallic conduit. Existing transmitter functions to a central fire house shall be retained. New equipment shall have appropriate interfaces for existing transmitter. Estimated cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid guarantee and payment bonds are required. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
