Edgar, (315) 772-6510 (Site Code DAKF36) Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of Bridge #34, Training Area 14G, and replacement of Bridge #31, Training Area 11B, Fort Drum, New York. Principal Features to be performed will include, but is not limited to the following items. (l) Removal of existing bridge timber superstructure, concrete abutments, timber wingwalls, and timber piles. (2) Replacement of substructure with reinforced concrete abutments on steel piles driven to competent rock and stone rip-rap placed over scour control. (3) Replacement of superstructure with weathering steel beams and stress graded timber and lumber decking. All work to be performed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, the Specifications and Drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.
