The Defense Evaluation Support Activity (DESA) intends to place a delivery order against Tektronix, Inc., General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Service Schedule, GS-OOF-0819A, for the following Instrument and Laboratory Equipment: Model No. TDS744A, Digitizing Oscilloscope, Color, 4 Channel, 500 Mhz, Quantity 4EA; Model No. TDS744A, Option 1K, K420 Cart, Quantity 4 EA. Other firms may submit information identifying their capability to meet the requirement. This information will only be considered if clear and convincing documentation including technical and pricing information is furnished within 15 calendar days of this synopsis. Interested source must also show that it is advantageous to the Government to consider its product. If no affirmative written responses are received within 15 calendar days after the publication of this notice, a delivery order will be placed with Tektronix, Inc., against their GSA schedule contract. This synopsis is a notice of intent to place a GSA delivery order and should not be considered a request for offers. The Government will not pay for information received. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses to this notice, because the synopsis of intent to place an order against a schedule contract is not considered a solicitation document. No solicitation documents exists, therefore, requests for such a document will be an invalid response. If responses indicate a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all responsible firms responding to this synopsis of intent.
