RFP Available: NIH-NIAID-DMID-97-06 ''TB Research Materials and Vaccine Testing''. The Respiratory Diseases Branch, Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has a requirement for a contractor to supply tuberculosis research materials to the scientific community and to provide animal models for aerosol challenge studies. Integral to this project will be efforts, in cooperation with other interested tuberculosis researchers, directed toward identification and evaluation of the major M. tuberculosis antigens associated with protection against tuberculosis. It is anticipated that one cost-reimbursement, completion contract will be awarded for a period of seven (7) years.
