8TH ANNUAL US ARMY TANK-AUTOMOTIVE AND ARMAMENTS COMMAND RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT & ENGINEERING CENTER (TARDEC) GROUND VEHICLE SURVIVABILITY SYMPOSIUM March 24-27, 1997, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. This entire conference on combat and tactical vehicles is classified up to and including SECRET US ONLY. The Symposium's objective is to bring together the various disciplines within the ground vehicle survivability community to provide a forum for technical interchange of the various aspects of ground vehicle survivability. The intent is to provide a synergistic information flow between the several survivability disciplines. In an environment of defense technology down-sizing, this symposium serves to provide a basis for greater cooperation between the Government-Industry team.
