equipment necessary to drydock and perform routine vessel maintenance
including but not limited to the following minimum quantity items: (1)
Inspect Line Shaft Bearings, (2) Remove and Reinstall Port and
Starboard Propellers, (3) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Rudder, (4)
Temporary Logistics, (5) Routine Drydocking. Indefinite quantity items
include but are not limited to the following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2)
Remove and Reinstall Stern Tube Seal Assemblies, (3) Rebabbit Line
Shaft Bearings, (4) Preserve Underwater Body, (5) Additional Temporary
Logistics. Vessel hompier is Cheboygan, MI. Vessel length is 290 feet
- width is 74 foot, 4 inches. Vessel availability schedule is 15
October 1996 for 21 calendar days. The place of performance is
geographically restricted to the Great Lakes area west of Massina, NY.
There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 required in the form
of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for
requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. The proposed
contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 19 Aug 96. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall
