The United States Penitentiary, Marion, Illinois, is soliciting for Medical Records Technician/Librarian services for federal prisoners. Services include evaluation, health record, audits, health records labeling, health records filing, recommended medical records function changes, and written reports. The contractor must have an Associate Degree in Medical Records Technology or two years experience with formal education in medical records, terminology and medical records functions. Services will be provided at the United States Penitentiary in Marion, Illinois. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantity for each 12 month period of the contract is 780 two-hour sessions per year. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid which will be considered for award.
