Officer (202) 874-5040. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
(OCC), a Bureau in the Treasury Department, requires the services of an
experienced Contractor to provide nation-wide on-site travel services
at its headquarters located at 250 E St, SW, Washington, DC. Services
will be for the headquarters office, six district offices, various
field offices and duty stations and one foreign office. The selected
contractor will be compensated for these services by its receipt of
commissions from common airline carriers, suppliers of lodging and
rental vehicles and other related travel services. The OCC contemplates
a no-cost type contract with the Contractor paying a rebate to the OCC.
Office space will be provided by the OCC as well as office furniture
and equipment with electronic mail capability. After hours telephone
services, other data communications and computer equipment deemed
necessary for the performance of this contract will be the
responsibility and the expense of the contractor. The contractor will
also be responsible for providing a satellite ticket printer in each
district office. The period of performance includes the base year and
four one-year options for renewal. Extensive past performance
information is required. The OCC will evaluate the past performance of
each proposing company, as well as the qualifications, knowledge and
work experience of the proposed key personnel. Substitutions for the
key personnel will not be allowed once the evaluation process begins,
unless the Contracting Officer determines that it is in the best
interests of the Government to allow a substitution. All companies that
make the competitive range will be required to conduct an oral
presentation at OCC Headquarters. Solicitation CC-96-R-0017 is
anticipated to be released by the end of August 1996. All requests for
a copy of the solicitation must be made in writing, addressed to the
