RADTKE, CONTRACTING OFFICER, (202) 767-7981 11 CONS/LGCX intends to procure services to develop a self-study computer based training package on Information and Referral (I&R) for Air Force Family Support Center I&R specialists. The training will be divided into stand alone modules that serve as separate knowledge, skills learning blocks of instruction. Blocks of instruction shall include objective learning evaluations (tests). The training shall be built on performance based competencies outlined in the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) certification requirements. The training shall cover three areas of practice: General knowledge needed by I&R specialists, Skills and Abilities required by specialists, and Working Attitudes that I&R specialists should display. The three areas shall be covered in the AIRS ABCs self study training package which shall serve as a model for the AF I&R CBT. The effort shall include six tasks. The overall objective of the six tasks is to equip and train FSC I&R staff with the knowledge and tools to better serve military families. This objective ensures that military members and families receive current, effective community information to adapt to military life so that mission readiness is met.
