The purpose of this proposed contract is to obtain facilities, materials, and personnel to perform all services necessary to provide exhibit & materials storage, and exhibit shipping and receiving services. The contractor will be required, as a minimum, to (1) Store, and keep an up-to-date inventory, of portable exhibit structures, graphics, equipment and publications, (2) Set-up, inspect, and ship exhibits to scheduled and unscheduled exhibits nationwide and internationally, (3) Travel with the exhibit to manage set-up, (4) Receive the exhibit shipment upon completion of each show, unpack, inspect, repair if necessary, and update inventory, and (5) Track all costs on a per-show and per-task basis. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal which will be considered by FHWA. The period of performance is 2 years. The due date identified above is the approximate date for receipt of proposals; proposals will be due 30 days after issuance of solicitation.
