This requirement is for technical and engineering services to support Identification Systems (IDS) for cooperative and non-cooperative Identification (ID) programs, ATC systems, Navy, Marine Corps, and shore station support and advanced technologies development. The work will employ disciplines embracing system performance, management and test planning, laboratory and field testing, data reduction and analysis, interface analysis, integration and installation, logistics and equipment maintenance, and technical report preparation throughout various stages and phases of the systems life cycle. The contract type is anticipated to be cost plus fixed fee with an estimated level of effort of 1,868,000 manhours for a total of five years. The period of performance is for a base year plus four one-year options starting on 1 October 1997. This requirement is a follow-on to N00140-93-C-BG12 and the incumbent is Tracor Applied Sciences.
