Z -- CONSTRUCT HANDICAP ACCESS SOL DMA402-96-Q0151 DUE 092496 POC Contact Diana Shepard, 314/260-1206, or Paulette Martin/Contracting Officer, 314/260-1206 This is construction project #STL 95-0030 which consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, to construct handicap access into Building 25. Work is to include installation of a wheelchair lift and associated appurtenances, installation of power-assisted door hardware, placement of a new sidewalk, as well as, the required electrical work, painting, clearing and grubbing associated with these items. The work shall be performed by a general contractor who has a minimum of two years experience in general construction. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 90 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This work is located at the Defense Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in south City of St. Louis. (0232)
