J -- MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR APHERESIS EQUIPMENT Sol. NOO16897RCOL031, NOO168-97Q-LO31. Due 090996. POC: Contracting Officer, Mary A. Lutton, 301-295-6491. The National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda has a requirement for the Laboratory Medicine Department, Blood Bank Division to provide a maintenance contract on two Cobe pieces of equipment for a base period of one (1) year effective 01 October 1996 through 30 September 1997 with four (4) one year options. Items include (1) Cobe Spectra Plasma Separator S/N 1SO1094 and (2) Cobe Plasma Extractor, Model 95000000 S/N 1SO1817. Maintenance contract will include two (2) scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, unlimited emergency service calls, parts, travel, and labor. All repair and preventive work must be done by factory authorized service representatives only. Anticipated award date is 20 September 1996. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency. This action is unrestricted. Proposed issue date of solicitation is 06 September 1996. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be made in the form of a purchase order and is contingent upon availability of FY97 funding. (236)
