Each of these sites meets the requirements of the law and the Federal Acquisition Regulation by having the ability to electronically provide widespread public notice of contracting opportunities, including public access, issue electronic solicitations and make them publicly accessible, and receive electronic public responses (quotes) and associated request for information. These sites are operating through the Federal Acquisition Computer Network (FACNET) network entry point at Columbus, Ohio and providing electronic commerce traffic to all participating Value Added Networks and their client trading partners.
