Miller (608) 388-2905 Contracting Officer Brenda Heuer (Site Code WPC0NT) Furnish all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for plowing and removal of snow from driveways, parking lots, main roads and secondary roadways at Philip H. Sheridan Reserve Center, Ft Sheridan, IL and the Reserve Center located at Bldg 900, Ft Sheridan, IL. Contractor shall distribute salt during plowing operations. This shall be done with a salt spreader attachment mounted on the dump truck. Contractor must possess or guarantee, by proof of ownership or rental agreement, the ability to have a minimum of one end loader with 2-1/2 cu yd capacity; one single axle dump truck with a mounted 7-1/2 ft blade; and, two dump trucks with a 6 cu yd capacity. Major snowfalls, those in excess of six inches, may require the Contractor to furnish an additional end loader and truck. Contractor should provide for this contingency. Snow will be removed from only those areas deemed necessary by the the COR. There is approximately 21,300 lineal feet of roads and 1,000,000 sq ft of parking lots located within the Philip H. Sheridan Reserve Center. This is a requirements contract for the base period of 1 November 1996 thru 30 September 1997 with two one-year option periods. Request for IFB must be in writing accompanied by a non- refundable certified check, cashiers check, or money order payable to U.S. Treasury in the amount of $8.00 per package.
