Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Draft Czech Standard CSN 56 9146 Quick-Frozen Spinach (15 pages, available in Czech). 6. Description of content: Standard shall apply to the quick-frozen spinach species Spinacia oleracia L., intended for direct human consumption without further processing except for repackaging, if required. It does not apply to spinach when intended for processing. This draft standard implements the international Standard CODEX STAN 77:1981 Quick-Frozen Spinach. It also contains other provisions of national character. Some of them are proposed to be mandatory, as follows: 5.1 Additives, and 7 Labelling. Only these provisions are notified under the WTO Agreement. 7. Objective and rationale: Consumers' protection. 8.
