POC: LaVonne Walker, (202) 512-5102. The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) intends to enter into agreement with SAS Institute Inc., P.O. Box 65505, Charlotte, NC 28265 for the purpose of continuing GAO's license and maintenance of SAS products. These products include VMS, Windows, and Unix versions of SAS and associated modules, including but not limited to SAS/ETS, FSP, GRAPH, IML, STAT, AND ASSIST. GAO currently has an installed base of SAS software in the following distribution: VMS SAS and VMS SAS/Graph - 1; Windows SAS and SAS/STAT, GRAPH, and related modules - 225; UNIX SAS and SAS/STAT, GRAPH, and related modules - 15. GAO intends to negotiate with SAS Institute Inc., on a sole-source basis for acquiring licensing rights, upgrades as available, notices, fixes, and technicaltelephone support.
