Center Crane Division (NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane) is requesting
information at no cost to the government, regarding all applicable
light weight, non- developmental Thermal Sights which will provide 24
hour above water surveillance and/or reconnaissance capability. Sight
should include capability of being powered by 12-30 VDC power source or
battery, RS-170 video output, remote operation of sight controls such
as brightness, contrast, focus, field of view, and polarity is desired.
Sight must be able to withstand constant submersion in salt water to
the depths of 66 ft. A submersibility capability of 100 ft (3
atmospheres of pressure) is desired. Typical targets will be 13-15m in
length and 1-2m in depth with a recognition range of 3km in varying
environmental extremes. Interested sources should submit technical
