Presolicitation notice: The contractor shall furnish all material,
equipment, supplies, and labor to design the early warning system,
provide the equipment (hardware, software and electronic
instrumentation), install the system and train station personnel in the
operation and maintenance of the system. Electronic-type early warning
systems are typically composed of a computer base station, computer
activated sirens and strobes and computer linked gaging stations and
high water sensors. Performance of this contract shall be 45 calendar
days after receiving notice to proceed. The estimated cost of this
project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition is
unrestricted. The estimated issue date for the RFP is November 6, 1996
with proposals for this design-build project due December 6, 1996. All
