Inquiry for sources of tilling equipment that meets the following
specifications: Self-drafting, winged subsoiler on dolly mount; unit
sized for use with D-7 tractor; sub-soiler unit consisting of three (3)
winged ripper tines capable of extending from 12 to 34 inches below the
draw bar. Wings shall be at least 20 inches wide with a 2 inch lift of
the wing from horizontal. Shanks shall have individual shank tripping
mechanism that automatically resets; shank spacing must be adjustable
and individual shanks must be removable; various wing patterns must be
available and easily interchangeable. Implement must be capable of
achieving maximum fracture of compacted soils (minimum 24 inches) in
one pass through shearing and lifting, without furrowing, mixing or
surface displacement, when controlled by a trained operator in highly
