The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for a contractor to be responsible for the demolition, cleanup and disposal of all debris related to asbestos removal. All work to be accomplished by a certified asbestos abatement contractor. Contractor will be required to prepare and submit a written 12 point asbestos abatement plan prior to abatement. Types of materials to be abated include mastic, floor tile, elbows and TSI. All performance of this contract to be performed at the Federal Prison Camp in Duluth, Minnesota. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. The estimated issue date of this solicitation is October 8, 1996. This procurement action is set-aside for small business.
