This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a modification to the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation/amendment will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 90-42. This procurement is being advertised as a total small business set-aside, under standard industrial classification code 8299, with a small business size standard of $5.0 Million. Any quotes received from large business will be considered for award. (A) Schedule: The contractor shall provide dental services including diagnosis and treatment for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution/Federal Detention Center/Federal Prison Camp, 5701 8th Street, Dublin, California 94568 for a Base Year and four one year option periods. The original CBD advertisement indicated that the dental services must be provided by a ``State of California'' licensed dentist. This requirement is modified to delete ``State of California'' from the licensing information. The provider must be ``Licensed to provide dental services.''
