L -- IDECM F-15 ACA MODIFICATION, QRT POD AND ALQ-165 GFE ORDERS SOL N00019-96-C-0005 POC Contact, Wallace D. Coggins, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification and negotiate two provisioned item orders under the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) engineering and manufacturing development contract with Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company. The modification to the contract will change the requirements of the Sanders IDECM F-15 Associate Contractor Agreement with McDonnell Douglas to support additional studies of the full IDECM Radio Frequency Countermeasures (RFCM) system including the technicque generator. One order will require the contractor to perform tasks necessary to modify Government furnished Quick Response Time pods to allow reel-in/reel-out capability for the IDECM Fiber Optic Towed Decoy and mass models in support of IDECM RFCM testing in 1997. A second provisioned item order will be issued to modifiy Government furnished ALQ-165 systems for prototype and test of IDECM RFCM modifications prior to contract delivery of IDECM RFCM hardware.
