SOL N61339-97-R-0002 DUE 020597 POC Contract Specialist-John Gralin, 407-380-4082; Contracting Officer-Kathryn Dillon, 407-380-4675 Contractor Operation and Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) services to be performed on the S-3 training devices and maintenance services for the S-3 Computer Based Trainers at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, CA., and NAS Cecil Field, FL.; and maintenance services for the S-3 Classroom Lecture Animated Graphics Presentation System at NAS Cecil Field. The services described above will include full supply support. Using full and open competition, this procurement will be a negotiated technically acceptable low price acquisition. This procurement will also include a priced option for moving training devices from NAS Cecil Field, FL. to NAS Jacksonville, FL.. The initial award will be for a two month mobilization period followed by four twelve month options, one eight month option, and a two month transition option. Pre-proposal conferences/site surveys will be held at NAS North Island and NAS Cecil Field in mid December 1997. Specific dates, time, and places will be announced in the solicitation. All interested parties may submit a technical proposal for consideration. All responses to this synopsis must indicate their status as a small business or small disadvantaged business and their intent to pursue this requirement as a prime or subcontractor. The Government has not yet made a determination regarding a small business set-aside. The SIC Code for this procurement is 8711, and the small business size standard is $20 million.
