619-532-2355. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes furnishing of
all necessary labor, material, and equipment to provide for the
drain-down of waste oil tanks and piping, vapor freeing of tanks and
piping, installation of tank manifolding and piping, installation of a
transfer pump, new access platforms and grating, grounding, lighting,
lead testing, tank painting, and incidental related work complete and
ready for use.--The estimated cost is $25,000 and $100,000. -- Firm
Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 120
calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The
Standard Industrial Code is 1629 and the annual size standard is $17
million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum
goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
Bidders should request in writing stating IFB number N68711-95-C-7707,
with complete name, address, area code and phone number and whether
bidding as a prime/subcontractor/supplier.--Telephone requests will not
be accepted.--There will be a charge for plans and specs that is yet to
be determined. The fee will be non-refundable.--Mail requests with a

until your check has been received by this office.--Submit one (1)
check per project.--Solicitation packages are limited to two (2) sets
per prime and one (1) set per subcontractor/supplier.--Bidders
responding under this advertisement will not be required to resubmit
request once formally advertised.--Tentative issue date is on or about
18 November 1996 with an opening date of approximately 30 days later
(NOTE: BOD stated above is TENTATIVE).--Responses are due no later than
15 calendar days after publication of the advertisement in the CBD.
