This project consists of the conversion of a three-story, 72-room dormitory to 1+1 configuration. The 1+1 is a private room module which means the bath and kitchen are shared by two occupants whose living/sleeping areas are private. Twenty-four (24) rooms shall be kitchen/bathrooms with stove, microwave, sink, and tub/shower. The remaining forty-eight (48) shall be renovated sleeping quarters. Other work shall include installing a fire sprinkler system, new sewer hookups and additional water connections. The specifications do not require the contractor to deliver, use, store, or handle hazardous material at this government activity.
